More names from the Red Bull organizations hit the headlines, as rumors continue to circulate that Ralf Rangnick will join AC Milan as the new manager. According to sempremilan.com reports both Marcel Sabitzer and Marcel Halstenberg of RB Leipzig are linked with a possible move to Italy.
Sabitzer has had a tremendous season this year. The winger has scored 16 goals and made 9 assists across 38 games in all competitions. Including 4 goals and 2 assists in 7 Champions League games. The Austrian transferred to Leipzig in 2014. His first year was a loan to Red Bull Salzburg, where he would help win the league.
The 26 year-old has become a mainstay in the Leipzig attack and seems unlikely to leave. However, if Milan show strong enough interest through Rangnick it may be possible.
Halstenberg has been at Leipzig since 2015, helping the club gain promotion. The 28 year-old has played both left-back and center-back for Leipzig in 24 league appearances this season.
According to reports, the German is a more serious target for Milan. The defender may be important for Milan as the Rossoneri are in need of a versatile left-back, being one of their less secure positions this season.
The rumors involving AC Milan with any Red Bull personnel are growing weekly. The fact that moreare cropping up may be a sign that news about Rangnick’s decision and if he will try to sway Red Bull personnel to join him in Italy will come in the near future.
