It wasn’t the most exciting game by any means by Kemar Lawrence and Jamaica were able to grab a point in a scoreless draw with El Salvador.
Lawrence played 90 minutes and earned a clean sheet. Former New York Red Bulls II player Junior Flemmings also started in the match and played 86 minutes, picking up a yellow card.
Both teams struggled to find a way through each other’s defenses throughout the match. The first shot on goal came from Jamaica in the 76th minute when Shaun Francis tested El Salvador’s keeper Henry Hernandez who made a great save.
Both teams looked for chances down the stretch but came up empty. Jamaica takes on Curaçao in their final group stage game on Tuesday, June 25 at 8pm.
