2019 Ex-NYRBII Report – Week 8

Some former New York Red Bulls II players stood out for the Tampa Bay Rowdies this week and a career comes to an abrupt and unfortunate close.

Rafael Diaz – Was on the bench for Sacramento Republic’s 0-0 draw with Phoenix Rising.

Zach Carroll – Started and played 90 minutes in Reno 1868’s 1-0 loss to El Paso Locomotive FC.

Karl Ouimette – On the bench for Indy Eleven’s 2-1 loss to NYRB II.

Tim Schmoll – Not in the 18 for Dover Athletic’s 3-0 win over Sutton United.

Gideon Bah- not in 18 for FC Honka’s 3-2 win over FC Inter Tuku.

Konrad Plewa – Came on as a substitute in the 46th minute for Real Monarchs 3-2 loss to Austin Bold FC.

Noah Powder – Started and played 90 minutes in Real Monarchs 3-2 loss to Austin Bold FC.

Dan Metzger – Not in the 18 for Memphis 901 FC’s 1-0 loss to Charleston Battery.

David Najem – Started and played 79 minutes in Tampa Bay Rowdies 4-1 win over Atlanta United II. Not in 18 for Tampa Bay Rowdies 1-1 draw with Charlotte Independence.

Devon “Speedy” Williams – Nothing to report as Louisville City had the week off.

Brandon Allen – Came on as a substitute in the 90th minute in Tampa Bay Rowdies 4-1 win over Atlanta United II, scored a goal in that match. Started and played 80 minutes in Tampa Bay Rowdies 1-1 draw with Charlotte Independence.

Stefano Bonomo –Started and played 90 minutes in Sacramento Republic’s 0-0 draw with Phoenix Rising.

Junior Flemmings – Started and played 90 minutes in Phoenix Rising’s 0-0 draw with Sacramento Republic.

Zeiko Lewis – started and played 69 minutes in Charleston Battery’s 1-0 win over Memphis 901 FC.

Ethan Kutler – Not in the 18 for Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC’s 2-2 draw with Nashville SC.

Arun Basuljevic – Started and played 90 minutes in Fresno FC’s 2-2 draw with Orange County SC.

David Abidor – Started and played 90 minutes in Hapoel Petah Tikva’s 3-2 win over Maccabi Ahi Nazareth FC.

Hassan Ndam – Not in the 18 for FC Cincinnati’s 1-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls.

Andrew Tinari – Started and played 90 minutes in Tampa Bay Rowdies 4-1 win over Atlanta United II, picked up an assist in the game. Started and played 90 minutes in Tampa Bay Rowdies 1-1 draw with Charlotte Independence, picked up an assist in that game as well.

Douglas Martinez – Started and played 90 minutes in Real Monarchs 3-2 loss to Austin Bold FC, scored a goal in the match.

Kevin Politz – Started and played 90 minutes in Greenville Triumph SC’s 0-0 draw with Forward Madison FC, kept a clean sheet.

Wahab Ackwei – Started and played 90 minutes in Richmond Kickers 1-0 win over Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, kept a clean a sheet.

Jose Aguinaga – Started and played 90 minutes in Phoenix Rising’s 0-0 draw with Sacramento Republic.

Amando Moreno – Came on as a substitute in the 61st minute in Chicago Fire’s 1-0 loss to New York City FC. Not in the 18 for Chicago Fire’s 1-0 loss to the Montreal Impact.

Scott Levene –Was on the bench for Memphis 901 FC’s 1-0 loss to Charleston Battery.

Mike da Fonte – Started and played 90 minutes in Oklahoma City Energy FC’s 1-1 draw with Tulsa Roughnecks FC.

Bolu Akinyode – Started and played 90 minutes in Nashville SC’s 2-2 with Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.

Marius Obekop – Came on as a substitute in the 64th minute in Nantong Zhiyun FC’s 2-1 loss to Guangdong Southern Tigers FC, scored a goal in the match.

Anatole Abang – Not in the 18 for Nantong Zhiyun FC in their 2-1 loss to Guangdong Southern Tigers FC.

Dilly Duka- Started and played 62 minutes in KF Partizani Tirana’s 1-1 draw against KF Laçi.

Tyler Adams – Still out with a groin injury and wasn’t in the 18 for Red Bull Leipzig’s 2-1 win over SC Freiburg.
