RB Leipzig haven’t given up their pursuit of Everton winger Ademola Lookman and have improved their offer for the youngster to a record-setting 22 million pounds according to the UK publication Independent.
The Bundesliga club made three offers on Lookman. It seemed like he would remain a Toffee after Everton rejected 12 and 14 million bids. Leipzig appeared unable to increase the offer any more.
Lookman is familiar with Leipzig, spending the second half of last season with the club. He scored five goals in 11 appearances at Leipzig. Always looking for the next big prospect, Lookman fit in well. Now manager Ralf Rangnick is surly looking to build a squad for incoming manager Julian Nagelsmann. These tranfers position Leipzig as a true competitor to the top teams in the league. Joining the club would be a first step towards making him a starter, which is far from the case at his current club in England.
