isRed Bull Salzburg striker Munas Dabbur caught the eye of European clubs last year as he grabbed the Golden Boot in the Austrian Bundesliga and helped take the team to the Europa League semi-final. Now, it appears the Barclay’s Premier League side Crystal Palace is hoping to bring the striker in to maintain their stance within England’s top league.
Salzburg Striker Munas Dabbur Targeted by Crystal Palace
The 26-year old Israeli international turned heads in 2017-18 by scoring 29 goals in all competitions. He has also found himself on the radar of La Liga clubs such as Sevilla and Valencia according to the Daily Mail. The English side’s interest is another step in the right direction for the club. Palace tapped Roy Hodgson to come aboard, stabilize the side, and avoid relegation.
It is not shock that Dabbur has caught the interest of many teams around Europe. Red Bull Global Soccer is producing talented players making their way to top teams in the world. Just this past year, RB Leizpig’s dynamic midfielder Naby Keita moved to Liverpool. Top teams are monitoring other Red Bull players.
Salzburg will be hard pressed to find an immediate replacement if Dabour leaves. The transfer window is closing fast and while they are still strong contenders in the league, their qualification for the UEFA Champions League and success in the Europa League may depend heavily on whether Dabbur is part of the team.
