The Red Bulls rolled past Häcken last week, winning 4-0 at Red Bull Arena. This week, they head to Sweden to see out the fixture in qualifying round 1 of the Europa League. With an aggregate lead in the series, the Red Bulls need to be careful to keep Häcken at bay. A single away goal for the Red Bulls would, in all likelihood, be enough to see the German side through to the next qualifying round.

The Red Bulls won’t be able to rely on Stefan Ilsanker. The 29-year-old midfielder received a red card in the 81st minute of the first leg of the series. All other starters will be available for the Red Bulls, though it does not look like they will call upon Timo Werner or Emil Forsberg for the match. Both players participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and will look to continue to prepare for the German Bundesliga season.

Salzburg keeps rockin’ and rollin’ in the Austrian league. Last week, they started the season off with a 3-1 win over LASK. Moanes Dabour scored twice in the first half to put the game out of reach early. LASK managed to pull a goal back from the penalty spot, but they struggled to create chances and hold possession. This week, Mattersburg presents a stronger challenge for the Red Bulls, though Mattersburg has a 1-3 record in their last four meetings with the club. Expect Moanes Dabour to continue to lead the line, following up his strong form in 2017-18.
